We will be visiting what is probably the Canary Islands’ greenest holiday venue next month – Eco Finca de Arrieta, on the North of Lanzarote, occupies 30,000 square metres of spectacular scenery. With sea and mountain views, solar-powered pool and chill-out areas perfect for relaxation, each day at the Finca will be a unique holiday experience.
This eco-retreat offers different styles of accommodation, from a luxury villa to silk lined Mongolian Yurts, all beautifully and uniquely designed with Indonesian and Moroccan touches. Each accommodation has its own private area with private kitchen and private WC / shower room. The beautifully designed communal outdoor areas make the most of the warm climate.
Finca de Arrieta is powered by the largest green energy system on the island and prides itself on offering ethically minded travellers the opportunity to enjoy a little luxury in their eco-lifestyle. Combine that with the charm of the nearby coastal village of Arrieta, the laid back atmosphere at the Finca offers any traveller the opportunity to discover an essence of the real Lanzarote.
Finca de Arrieta is situated at 300 metres from La Garita beach which has fine golden sand and it’s 810m long. This beach has a restaurant and beach bar and also WC/showers, parking and play park. Local restaurants and supermarkets are only a few minutes-walk from Finca de Arrieta.
We will be staying in an Eco-Yurt Royale, a cross between a Bedouin palace and a Bond stage-set, boldly and sumptuously furnished to inspire and relax visitors. Look out for the review in May.
