The Scottish Green Apple Environment Awards recognise, reward and promote excellence in environmental sustainability – exclusively for companies and organisations that operate in Scotland and are doing their best to help the environment.

WHAT ARE THE AIMS OF THE
SCOTTISH GREEN APPLE ENVIRONMENT AWARDS?
- To recognise and celebrate Scottish businesses and organisations trying to help the environment.
- To publicise our award winners and encourage others to follow their environmental lead.
- To raise awareness of the importance of sustainability in the business sector.
- To highlight the economic benefits of environmentally friendly practices.
- To motivate others to adopt sustainable approaches through recognition and success stories.
WHAT CAN YOU WIN?
There are four chances to win in every category – National Champion, National Gold, National Silver and National Bronze. All award winners will be invited to an exclusive ceremony at a top Scottish venue to be presented with their prestigious trophies and certificates.
Their achievements will be publicised, and they will also have the opportunity to take their success to the next level, with their submission included in the GREEN WORLD AWARDS to compete against companies from all around the globe.
These awards are presented in a different country every year, and this year the ceremony is in Auckland, New Zealand.
In the GREEN WORLD AWARDS, your entry will be representing your country as well as your company.
And if you are crowned Green World Champion of Champions we will bring next year’s presentation ceremony
to Scotland to mark your achievement.
Winners will attend from all around the world and your company will be the focal point – at zero cost to you.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Entries are invited from any company, organisation or community – based or operating in Scotland
– that is trying to help the environment.
HOW MANY ENTRIES
CAN WE SUBMIT?
There’s no limit to the number of entries you can submit – nor to the number of trophies you can win.
YOUR FIRST ENTRY IS FREE, with each additional entry costing £150 + VAT
(reduced to £135 + VAT if payment is made within 14 days.)
WHAT ARE THE
JUDGES LOOKING FOR?
They can award up to 10 points on each of the criteria listed on the Entry Form. They also have
the flexibility to award up to 10 additional bonus points for entries they believe have particular merit.
You do not have to be able to ‘tick all the boxes’
to submit an entry.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?
The deadline for free entries is September 30 every year.
Late entries will be accepted until October 31 every year,
subject to a Late Entry Fee of £150 + VAT
(discounted to £135 + VAT if paid within 14 days).
