The Green Organisation has launched a national campaign to collect unwanted sports kit and 'recycle' it to children and adults in emerging nations who have virtually no clothing of any description.
We have already organised pilot projects and found tremendous interest, response and enthusiasm.
Many sports fans simply throw their old kit away when buying new and they have welcolmed the opportunity to pass it on to under-privileged people who are thrilled to accept the items and put them to good use.
Through Voluntary Service Overseas and DHL we have shipped kit to most African countries and even as far as China.
