CALL FOR ENTRIES

We would like to invite you to apply for a Green Apple Built Environment Award – the prestigious recognition scheme that supports the Government’s Civic Pride campaign. THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE and nominations are invited from any architect, local authority, owner, agency, construction/development company or any other organisation that is making a positive contribution to our built environment.

We are keen to recognise and reward those responsible for preserving our architectural heritage – and there are categories for new-build projects as well as the more obvious historical contenders.
There is also an International Category and all of the trophies will be presented at a prestigious prizegiving ceremony in London in the spring of 2006.

Closing date for entries is January 31, 2006, and contenders can nominate up to three different projects for consideration by our judges.
Each entry must be submitted on a separate Entry Form, but photocopies of this Entry Form are acceptable
.

Each entry must also include a recent photograph of the nominated building.
These photos must be prints, not transparencies.
They must not exceed A5 size and we regret that we cannot return them.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept nominations by email as some entrants abuse and corrupt the system.

CLOSING DATE: JAN 31, 2006

The Built Environment Awards are part of the Green Apple Award scheme organised by The Green Organisation with support from the Environment Agency, SAVE Britain's Heritage, the Chartered Institution for Wastes Management, The Municipal Journal and various other bodies with environmental concerns. The Green Organisation is an independent, nonpolitical, non-activist, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
